Food for Thought was borne out of concern by the directors over the nutritional content and standards of meals provided in many educational establishments across the country. We set the benchmark, long before the Jamie Oliver revolution and continue to do so, focusing on good quality, home cooked meals.

As a customer focused company, we are able to offer a more personal, responsive service without elaborate hierarchies. In all of our schools, the reporting structure is that the site cook supervisor reports to the area manager who in turn reports to the operations director. This results in a knowledge of each school at the most senior level and quick decisions enabling your catering service to move forward. We also encourage and empower our staff to take responsibility for your catering, to make them and you proud of what is on offer.

All of our staff are thoroughly vetted including Criminal Records Bureau checks, to ensure that they are trustworthy in an educational environment.
